Speakers Moot

On the first Monday of March, June, September and December we hold a Speakers Moot in the Limes pub, Preston Street, Faversham. We invite expert speakers to talk about Pagan subjects. Past talks have included Shamanism, Labyrinths, Wicca, working with Nature Spirits, Tarot and Aleister Crowley. There is a small charge to cover the Speaker's expenses - £3.50 (£2.50 concessions). We hope to see you there!

On Hold

Dates to be confirmed later in 2024 8pm
(we hope).

There hasn’t been a Faversham Speaker’s Moot since March 2020 just before the first lockdown. We have been keeping a watching brief on the situation almost re-starting only for another outbreak setting us back again.

In the meantime things have changed no doubt for everybody.

Given the current economic situation we cannot in good faith consider holding the Moot while the cost of living is so high for everybody. We are looking at high energy and food prices for at least a year. The cost of attending a Moot is not going to be viable for many people.

This has been a hard decision to make but given the circumstances we all face we think that is the right one.

We will do our very best to let you know here and via other social media nearer the time. Thank You.

The meeting starts at 8pm. Entry is £3.50 (£2.50 concessions) on the door.
